Janitors

The Janitors’ box is in the main foyer. For security reasons, visitors to the school are asked to sign in at the Janitors’ box before being admitted to the building.

Jewellery

Pupils are asked to keep jewellery to a minimum. Valuable jewellery should not be worn to school. Only one small ring should be worn, and only one stud-type earring per ear. These are the only jewellery permitted.

The Argyll and Bute Council’s Health and Safety Department advises that multiple earrings and face piercings such as eyebrow studs or rings, nose studs, etc., create a risk or injury in situations such as Physical Education and other practical classes. Pupils must not come to school with these sorts of piercings. This rule will be strictly enforced.
