SQA Examinations
Reminder for all S4 students that study leave starts on Friday 27 April until Friday 1st June inclusive.
The first exam is on Friday 27 April ? S Grade Art and Design. Timetables were issued to all students in early March. Spare copies are available from the school office ? 50p for Children in Need.
Suggestion Box
A pupil suggestion box has been placed outside the school office. This can be used to make suggestions available to pupils
in the school (how they could be improved); items for discussion at the Student Council; proposals for clubs or after-school activities; ideas on how Student Council funds could be spent; comments on all issues related to pupils from food available in the canteen to supported study, school uniform or points ahead.
The suggestions box could also be used to pass on information about bullying. This type of information will be dealt with confidentially. The box will be opened by a member of staff each week. Thanks to Stuart Lawson of S4 who made the box.
International education website
A new Learning and Teaching Scotland website has information and resources on study visits, school exchanges and learning through international education.
International education is a broad concept, and it can be exemplified in a variety of forms and experiences. These include school-based experiences, often using ICT, in addition to school links, exchanges and overseas visits. Learning in and through international education can make learning about any subject or any cross-curricular theme more relevant and fun.
