Student art work on display

Paintings, sculpture and jewellery from 180 of Scotland’s most talented art students are being showcased in an exhibition run by the Scottish Qualifications Authority in the Scottish Parliament’s Main Hall until 6 November. The free exhibition is displaying artworks created for the 2008 Higher Art and Design exams. Visit the website here.

Scottish Government 2007-08 exam statistics

The Scottish Government has published the Scottish Qualifications Authority exam results for local authorities for 2007-08.

The statistics, which are produced before appeals are considered, show that overall attainment in Scottish schools in 2007-08 was broadly similar to the levels attained in previous years. To view the results go here.
